These terms govern your use of gulftaxuae.com. Using the site means you accept them. If you do not, please stop using the site.
1. What this service is
GulfTax publishes free calculators and explanatory guides about taxation and employment rules in the United Arab Emirates. It is an independent information service operated by Hamza Maghrabi. It is not a law firm, an accountancy practice, a registered tax agent or a government body, and it has no affiliation with the Federal Tax Authority, the Ministry of Finance or any free zone authority.
2. Not tax, legal or financial advice
Everything on this site is general information. It is not tax advice, legal advice or financial advice, it is not a substitute for advice from a licensed professional, and using the site creates no advisor relationship of any kind between you and GulfTax.
Calculator results are estimates produced from the figures you enter. They do not account for the facts that decide most real cases, including free zone qualification, related-party transactions, group structures, exempt income, prior-year losses and elections you may or may not have made. Do not file, pay or make a commercial decision on the strength of a calculator result alone.
3. Accuracy and currency
UAE tax rules change, sometimes at short notice and sometimes with retroactive effect. Reasonable care is taken to keep every rate, threshold and deadline aligned with the current law, and the primary sources are checked daily, but no guarantee is given that any page is complete, accurate or current at the moment you read it.
Where a page and an official source disagree, the official source governs. Always confirm against the linked Federal Tax Authority or Ministry of Finance publication before acting.
4. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, GulfTax and its operator accept no liability for any loss or damage arising from use of this site or reliance on anything published here. That expressly includes tax underpaid or overpaid, administrative penalties, interest, missed deadlines, lost profits and consequential loss. You use the site at your own risk, and it is provided as is, without warranty of any kind.
5. Your responsibilities
You are responsible for your own registration, filing and payment obligations, for the accuracy of what you submit to the authorities, and for keeping your own records. You agree not to scrape the site at a rate that degrades it for others, not to republish its content as your own, and not to use it for anything unlawful.
6. Third-party links and advertising
The site links to official portals and to third-party material for reference. Those sites are not controlled by GulfTax and no responsibility is taken for their content or their availability.
The site carries advertising served by Google. Advertisers have no influence over editorial content, and the presence of an ad is not an endorsement.
7. Intellectual property
The wording of the guides, the calculator logic and the design of this site belong to GulfTax. You may quote short extracts with a link back. Republishing pages in full, in any language, or feeding them into a derivative product, requires written permission. Legislation and official guidance quoted on the site remain the property of the issuing authority.
8. Changes
These terms may be updated as the site changes. The effective date at the top of this page shows the current version, and continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the revised terms.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, and the UAE courts have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
