UAE visa status by nationality

A claim that the UAE has suspended tourist and work visas for nine countries (Afghanistan, Libya, Yemen, Somalia, Lebanon, Bangladesh, Cameroon, Sudan and Uganda) circulates widely on commercial visa websites. As of the review date below, no such suspension appears on the ICP website, on WAM, or in Gulf News, Khaleej Times or The National. Some of the sites publishing the claim state themselves that official UAE bodies have not confirmed it. Treat it as unconfirmed.
