This tool uses a fixed arithmetic (tabular) Islamic calendar โ the same kind of calculation phones and calendars use as a default. The UAE's official Hijri months begin only when the crescent moon is confirmed sighted, announced by the Moon Sighting Committee. That can shift the start of a month by a day in either direction. For binding religious or legal dates (Ramadan, Eid, contract deadlines), always confirm with the official announcement.
